33rd Annual Good Scout Award Luncheon!

On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at the South Point Hotel & Casino, the Las Vegas Area Council will host its Annual Good Scout Award Luncheon. This special event recognizes individuals whose leadership and commitment to service reflect the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

This year, we are proud to honor The Martin Family - Frank, Guy, & Jerrad - to receive the 2026 Good Scout Award as distinguished community leaders.

For more than 50 years, The Martin Family have lived, worked, and served in Southern Nevada. Through their involvement with organizations such as Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada, USO Nevada, Olive Crest, Casa De Luz, Henry's Place, and the Las Vegas Area Council, they have witnessed firsthand the power of giving back. As a devoted Christian family, they live by the principle: “To whom much is given, much is required” (Luke 12:48).
